The company had to suffer losses in the diesel powertrain of this car, due to which the company is now considering another powertrain option. Petrol and diesel provide more power to the car than CNG. At the same time, CNG gives much better mileage to the car than petrol and diesel. The cost of running a car on CNG is also a lot less than that of petrol diesel.

when will launch
According to a media report, the company will present a total of 2.5 lakh units of CNG cars in the financial year 2021-2022. The company can soon introduce the new Desire CNG to the customers. The company will also start work on the CNG variant of Maruti Suzuki Swift from its line-up soon. After the launch of the Maruti Suzuki DZire CNG variant, this car can directly compete with Hyundai’s CNG car AURA. Being a part of this CNG race, Tata Motors is also preparing to introduce the CNG variant of its car Tata Tagore.
