Scindia was kind to Madhya Pradesh while becoming a minister! Announcement to start eight new flights

New Delhi. Recently, Jyotiraditya Scindia, who was made the Union Civil Aviation Minister in the Modi cabinet, announced to start eight new flights from July 16, giving a big gift to Madhya Pradesh. Scindia gave this information by tweeting from his Twitter handle on Sunday and told that 8 new flights are going to start from July 16. The cities from where this flight is starting in Madhya Pradesh include Gwalior-Ahmedabad, Gwalior-Pune, Gwalior-Jabalpur, Gwalior-Mumbai flights. In such a situation, now Gwalior has also been connected to these four cities by air facility.
These flights have been started under the UDAN scheme of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. In this scheme, flights use the least used airport of the country and passengers are provided tickets at cheap rates.

Scindia tweeted and said, Good news for Madhya Pradesh. From Friday 16 July, SpiceJet is starting 8 new flights for Gwalior-Mumbai-Gwaliar, Gwalior-Pune-Gwaliar, Jabalpur-Surat-Jabalpur, Ahmedabad-Gwaliar-Ahmedabad. He further wrote that we are committed to take the UDAN scheme to greater heights.

This is the first decision after Scindia took over as the civil ministry replacing Hardeep Singh Puri. Scindia took charge at a time when the ministry is working on several other matters related to the process of disinvestment for loss-making Air India. In which privatization of more and more airports and ways to promote the sector affected by the corona virus epidemic.

Let us tell you that the UDAN scheme is a special scheme of the Ministry of Civil Aviation. This has been done to make air travel cheap and widespread in the country. It flies from such airports where the number of passengers is less.
