New Delhi. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of India’s 1971 war victory, Jawa Motorcycles has introduced two new colors for its modern classic Jawa. The price of both the bikes has been kept at Rs 1.93 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). These have been made available at all the dealerships of the company. The new colors – Khaki and Midnight Grey, show the valor and bravery of the Indian Army. The bike also includes a commemorative emblem which has an army insignia and a ‘laurel wreath’ symbolizing the 1971 victory. This insignia is depicted as a tricolor in the middle of the fuel tank. The company says that the Jawa Khaki and Jawa Midnight Gray will be the first production motorcycles to feature the Army Insignia.

New JAWA Bike will look like this – Both the Khaki and Midnight Gray colors have been given a matte finish and have an all-black theme that covers the mechanical parts of the motorcycle. The engine of this motorcycle has been given black out spoke rims with brushed fins. Apart from this, the bikes get new longer seats, which make riding comfortable with seat pan and cushioning.

Jawa Bike will get this engine – The return suspension and frame set-up enhance the ground clearance. Both these colors will be available only on the dual ABS version of the motorcycle, which makes driving much better. Both the bikes use 293cc liquid-cooled and fuel-injected engines that generate 27.33 PS of power and 27.02 Nm of torque. Both these engines come with a 6-speed transmission.

Jawa motorcycles will also contribute to the ‘Golden Victory Year’ celebrations of the Indian Army as part of a celebratory ride marking historic occasions of significant victories. In which Jawa Khakhi and Midnight Gray motorcycles will lead the charge.
