Government extends Kovid curfew till July 20, know what is the exemption – News18

Dehradun. The Uttarakhand government has extended the Kovid curfew till July 20. Now a maximum of 50 people will be allowed to attend weddings and funerals. The new guideline will come into effect from 6 am on July 13. It will be effective till 6 am on July 20. During this period, the District Magistrate will be able to take a decision at his level after assessing the status of infection in relation to giving relaxation in the guidelines in rural areas of the state. However, the vaccination program will continue during the Kovid curfew. Individuals will be allowed to travel in private vehicles, taxis, auto rickshaws on production of vaccine registration or other proof.

According to the new guidelines issued by the government, permission will be given by the administration for the participation of a maximum of 50 people in the marriage ceremony. Everyone will have to get RTPCR done 72 hours in advance. A maximum of 50 people will be able to attend the funeral procession.

– All educational, training institutions will remain closed during the Kovid curfew.
Online and distance learning will continue to be allowed.
All the coaching institutes in the state which provide coaching to the students/students above 18 years will open with 50% capacity.
Social, political, sports, entertainment, cultural functions will remain closed till further orders.
