Arjun Kapoor remembers his directorial day, called himself ‘terrible assistant’

Mumbai. Arjun Kapoor started his acting career with the film ‘Ishaqzaade’. before that he ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’ (Kal Ho NA Ho) And worked as an assistant director with Nikhil Advani in ‘Salaam-e-Ishq’. During a chat on Sunday, he recalled his directorial days. Arjun thinks he was a terrible assistant. Arjun never thought that he would be famous as an actor. He was overweight at that time. Because of this, he could not think of becoming an actor.

Recently, during a clubhouse session with Bollywood Film Club, Arjun said, “I was a terrific assistant when I started out. I started as an assistant in the film Kal Ho Naa Ho. I was a really terrible assistant. , because, initially I used to fall asleep on the sets, I used to come on the sets after Nikhil sir came. I used to do 15 minutes of work in four hours. I was not much better, but everyone on the sets loved me a lot. Then I started working on Salaam-e-Ishq. I was doing better at that time. I learned my work and realized that I can make films in my capacity.”

it is said that Arjun Kapoor He was inspired to become an actor by the inspiration of Salman Khan. Salman had also helped Arjun a lot in reducing weight. After all, he appeared as an actor in the film ‘Ishaqzaade’ released in 2012 and was in the hearts of the people. After this, the actor got offers from many films, including films like ‘Aurangzeb’, ‘2 States’, ‘Tevar’, ‘Half Girlfriend’ and ‘Ki & Ka’.

On the work front, Arjun Kapoor will next be seen in Pawan Kriplani’s ‘Bhoot Police’ alongside Saif Ali Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam. The film is going to release on Disney + Hotstar on September 17.
