New Delhi: After the continuous increase in the prices of petrol and diesel, the prices of CNG have increased today. More rupees will have to be spent for CNG (CNG Price hike) in the country’s financial capital Mumbai from 14th July i.e. today. Mahanagar Gas Limited had given information about this on Tuesday. The price of CNG has been increased by Rs 2, 58 paise per kg and the rate of domestic pipeline gas has been increased by 55 paise per unit.

According to the news of Times of India, the company has claimed that even after this increase, the prices of CNG will remain cheaper than petrol and diesel in the country. Today the price of petrol in Mumbai is Rs 107.20 per liter and diesel at Rs 97.29 per liter.

What are the new prices?
After the increase made today, the price of one kg of CNG has gone up to Rs 51.98. At the same time, talking about pipeline gas, the rate for slab 1 will be Rs 30.40 per unit and for slab 2 will be Rs 36 per unit. Information about the new rates has been given by the company.

Prices were also increased in Delhi
Let us tell you that recently the prices of CNG were increased in Delhi too. The price of CNG in Delhi was increased by 90 paise per kg. After this increase, the price of CNG in Delhi had increased from 43.40 per kg to Rs 44.30 per kg.

How much is CNG cheaper than petrol and diesel?
Let us tell you that the price of CNG is about 67 percent cheaper than petrol at this time. At the same time, the price of CNG is 47 percent cheaper than diesel, while CNG pipe gas is 35 percent cheaper than domestic gas cylinders.

What is the price of gas cylinder?
Talking about the prices of gas cylinders, on the first of this month, the price of 14.2 kg cylinder was increased by Rs 25.50. At the same time, the commercial gas cylinder i.e. 19 kg gas cylinder was also increased by Rs 84. At present, the rate of domestic gas cylinder in Mumbai is Rs 834.50.
