In the first quarter of the current financial year, the company’s net profit grew 22.7 per cent on a year-on-year basis to Rs 5195 crore. The company’s net profit in the corresponding quarter of last year was Rs 4233 crore.

Infosys dropout rate stood at 13 per cent in June quarter
Infosys COO Rao said that the demand for digital talent has increased tremendously in the recent past. Also said that as the demand for new talent increases in the IT sector, after some time it becomes a challenge in the industry. Hence, we have planned to recruit 35,000 college graduates for FY 2022 to meet the growing demand globally. The rate of people leaving the job in Infosys has increased to 13.9 percent in the June quarter. It was 10.9 per cent in the March 2021 quarter. However, this attrition rate is less than 15.6 per cent in the June quarter of last year.

Company’s consolidated income grew on a year-on-year basis

On a quarterly basis, the net profit of Infosys in the March 2021 quarter was Rs 5078 crore. The consolidated income of the company has grown by 18 per cent year-on-year to Rs 28,986 crore. A year ago it was Rs 23,665 crore. On a quarterly basis, it has increased by 6 per cent to Rs 27,896 crore from Rs 26,311 crore.

TCS will also recruit 40 thousand students from campus
