During this, the crowd kept running after him and kept saying abusive words. A video of this entire incident was made by someone present there and uploaded on social media. After which this video became increasingly viral.

The priests are protesting
Significantly, the Devasthanam Act was introduced by the Trivendra Rawat government to bring Kedarnath, Badrinath, Yamunotri and Gangotri temples under the ambit of the Devasthanam Board, which is governed by an IAS officer. Now the priests of Uttarakhand are opposing this act and talking of withdrawing it. It is worth mentioning that Trivendra Rawat had also promised to look into the matter by all the priests but later the Chief Minister changed.
The priests are continuously protesting to break the Devasthanam Act and the period of demonstrations is also going on. The priests of Gangotri, Yamunotri, Kedarnath and Badrinath have also sat on a dharna opposing this. At the same time, the priests are opposing it by tying a black band.
