Indian Railways: Good news for passengers, Tejas Express will run again from August 7

New Delhi. In the midst of improving conditions due to Coronavirus, the Indian Railways has made preparations to run the private train Tejas Express again on track. Tejas train running in both directions between Lucknow Junction-New Delhi is being started again from 7 August. This train will operate 4 days a week between Lucknow and New Delhi.

According to North Eastern Railway spokesperson Pankaj Kumar Singh, 82501/82502 Lucknow Jn-New Delhi-Lucknow Jn. Tejas train will be restarted on 7th August from Lucknow and New Delhi every Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Friday four days a week.

82501 Lucknow Jn – New Delhi Tejas Express will run from 07 August to Lucknow Jn. Departure from Kanpur Central at 06.10 hrs and arrive New Delhi at 07.25 hrs from Ghaziabad at 11.47 hrs. In return journey 82502 New Delhi-Lucknow Jn. Tejas Express will leave New Delhi at 15.40 hrs from 7th August and will leave Ghaziabad at 16.13 hrs and Kanpur Central at 20.40 hrs. Will arrive at 22.05.

A total of 16 coaches including 12 AC chair car, 02 AC executive chair car and 02 generator-cum-luggage car will be fitted in the structure of this train.

Tejas Express will also run between Mumbai and Ahmedabad
Meanwhile, IRCTC has decided to reinstate Tejas Express between Mumbai and Ahmedabad from August 7. This train will run four days a week on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Due to the second wave of Corona, the service of Tejas Express (train number 82902/82901) running between Mumbai and Ahmedabad was stopped on 2 April 2021.
