New Delhi. Due to heavy rains in Bihar, due to the rise in the water level in the rivers, there is a situation of flood in many areas. The water level has increased on the rail bridges of many rail sections.

Due to this, railways have to make short origination and route change of trains operated every day. Rail Bridge No. between Muktapur-Samastipur stations on Darbhanga-Samastipur rail section of East Central Railway. In view of the rising water level on 01, short origination and route change of the following trains has been done.

According to the spokesperson of North Eastern Railway, Pankaj Kumar Singh, the following trains are being shortened and diverted:-
04649 Jaynagar-Amritsar special train leaving Jaynagar on 20th July will be diverted from Samastipur in place of Jaynagar.

04651 Jaynagar-Amritsar special train departing from Jaynagar on 20th July will be diverted from Muzaffarpur in place of Darbhanga.

01062 Jaynagar – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Special train leaving Jaynagar on 20th July will be diverted from Muzaffarpur in place of Jaynagar.

02569 Darbhanga-New Delhi special train departing from Darbhanga on 19th July will be diverted from its scheduled route Darbhanga-Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Gorakhpur via the converted route Darbhanga-Sitamarhi-Sikta-Narkatiyaganj-Gorakhpur.

05211 Darbhanga-Amritsar special train departing from Darbhanga on 19th July will be diverted from its scheduled route Darbhanga-Samastipur-Muzaffarpur-Narkatiyaganj via the converted route Darbhanga-Sitamarhi-Sikta-Narkatiyaganj.
