HPCL and Tata Power signed an agreement, now every petrol pump will have an EV charging station– News18 Hindi

EV charging station : Tata Power and HPCL have joined hands to promote electric vehicles. Tata Power has tied up with Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited (HPCL). Under the agreement, Tata Power will install Electric Vehicle Charging Stations at all petrol pumps of HPCL.

Charging stations will be installed on the first highway Tata Power will install EV Charging Stations at petrol pumps located near major cities and major highways of the country. Tata Power will prepare the infrastructure for charging electric vehicles at all the petrol pumps of HPCL. This charging station will also connect with Tata Power’s Charge mobile application EZ.

Tata Power has the largest EV charging network Tata Power has a network of 500 public charging stations in more than 100 cities of the country. These charging stations include petrol pumps, metro stations, shopping malls, theaters and highways etc. The electric vehicle industry will benefit from this agreement between Tata Power and HPCL.

With the increase in the number of charging stations, people will buy electric vehicles. Because charging facility will be available in more places. Sandeep Bangia, EV Charging Head, Tata Power said that the partnership with HPCL will give EV customers more options to charge their vehicle at the petrol pump. Electric vehicles will be used on a large scale.
