This bike will be in 250-500cc segment – Jhabakh said that going forward, the motorcycle company plans to continue to focus on the 250-500cc motorcycle segment in the country, as this premium segment has high growth potential. He said that there is a huge customer base for 125cc or 150cc bikes in India right now and a large group is coming on the above 150cc segment as well.

Jhabakh said that 125cc to 150cc bikes are currently available in India in the price range of Rs 1 lakh to Rs 1.60 lakh, with the next bracket being Rs 2 lakh to Rs 5 lakh. It is quite likely that customers will switch to bikes priced between Rs 8 lakh and Rs 10 lakh from this stage. Thus, the company believes that the 250-500cc segment could be the preferred choice for a lot of upgraders in the next two years. Jhabakh said that this segment is estimated to be around 30,000 units a year, of which we expect to account for around 25 per cent by 2022.
