The Meteorological Department has alerted Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Western Uttar Pradesh, North West Madhya Pradesh, North East Rajasthan, North Konkan as well as some areas of Bihar and West Bengal regarding heavy rain. On the other hand, there is a warning of torrential rain at many places in Himachal Pradesh. The rain continued in the capital Shimla since Sunday.
