Mahindra & Mahindra said that at our manufacturing plant in Nashik, contaminated fuel has been used at a particular point of time, due to which the diesel engines of these vehicles are less likely to last longer. We are getting those vehicles back so that a new diesel engine can be added to replace the defective engine.

These vehicles will be taken back
According to the information given by the company, there are about 600 such vehicles, which have been manufactured between June 21 and July 2, 2021 at the manufacturing plant in Nashik. The company has said that customers will be informed about this recall through email, message and call through the dealership. The company further stated that for replacement of all the called vehicles and changes made in the technical improvements, the customers will not be charged. This recall service will be provided to the customers absolutely free of cost.

Mahindra Marazzo, Bolero, XUV300 and Scorpio are manufactured at Mahindra’s plant in Nashik. Although the company has not shared any information about which Mahindra model is included in the recalled vehicles. Users of Mahindra vehicles can contact their nearest dealership store for more details.
