Dehradun. In Uttarakhand, while many trains are not running on time due to continued heavy rains, an important train has been canceled for five days due to technical reasons. Janata Express running between Dehradun to Varanasi will remain canceled till July 28. The Moradabad Division of Northern Railway, while canceling the operation of this train, has given the reason that non-interlocking work will be done at Shahjahanpur railway station in Uttar Pradesh, in view of which this train will not be run.

Train number 04265 which runs from Varanasi to Dehradun and Train number 04266 which runs from Dehradun to Varanasi, both these trains will remain closed. This train originating from Varanasi will be canceled from July 24 to 27 and from Dehradun from July 25 to 28. The news of TOI quoting Dehradun station master Sitaram Sonkar said that those who have already made reservations on this route, their money will be refunded.

Significantly, for the last few days, along with the capital Dehradun, heavy rains are continuing in many areas of Uttarakhand.
