The company recently launched its limited edition bikes Classic 500 Tribute Black and Meteor 350 in Australia and New Zealand. The company’s retail footprint has grown by almost 50 per cent in the Asia Pacific region as of FY 2020.

Royal Enfield’s Asia Pacific (APAC) Head of Business Vimal Sumbali acknowledged his satisfaction on this achievement and said that he is very excited that they have secured the position of number one mid-size motorcycle brand in New Zealand. He said that this is just our beginning, and we hope that we will get better responses from the customers, so that we will be able to create new records.

This bike is getting a lot of headlines – Royal Enfield’s popularity internationally started with the launch of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650, which the company launched in 2018. The Himalayan model of Royal Enfield has been well received by the customers, including thousands of touring and off-road riders. Along with this, the company’s new 650cc parallel-twin engine was also well received internationally.
