The GDA started work on the scheme named Indirapuram Vistaar about six years ago. At that time there was a preparation to bring 365 acres of land under this scheme. But but many farmers went to court. In fact, the GDA does not have enough money to compensate the farmers under the new land acquisition law. That’s why the GDA withdrew its hands.
Now only 90 acres of land is left here, out of which 30 acres is being taken out of the scheme. It is being denotified soon. After this, only 60 acres of land will be left, out of which GDA wants to take 20 acres separately. In this way, the landpooling scheme will be developed in only 40 acres.
