Superintendent of Police Dharamveer Singh said that around 11 o’clock on Saturday, Bhuvnesh Kumar, the son of Gopalkrishna, a resident of Bhattowala in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, went missing from the house. He told that Gopalkrishna had received a call to pay a ransom of Rs 15 lakh. Singh told that Gopal lodged a kidnapping report against a young man named Bhola in the police station Rishikesh and after that the police sought help from the Bijnor police of Uttar Pradesh by taking the mobile location from the number called. He told that the mobile location of the kidnapper was found near the fire station in Dhampur, Bijnor. He told that after this the police team of Dhampur stopped the roadways bus going to Moradabad and checked it, then Bhuvnesh along with the hijacker was found safely in it.

A police officer said that the kidnapping accused Bhola told that he is a resident of East Champaran district of Bihar and works as a tile installer in Rishikesh. He told that he was luring Bhuvnesh, his companions have demanded a ransom of Rs 15 lakh from Gopalkrishna. Gopalkrishna is the supervisor at AIIMS Rishikesh. The Superintendent of Police said that Bhola is being questioned and Rishikesh Police has been informed about the recovery of Bhuvnesh.
