New Delhi . IT company Coforge Limited has released its quarterly result. This company was earlier known as NIIT Technologies. The company on Wednesday said its cumulative net profit rose 54.7 per cent to Rs 123.6 crore in the first quarter of the current financial year.
Coforge told the stock exchange that it had made a net profit of Rs 79.9 crore in the same period a year ago. The company further informed that its cumulative income grew by 38.3 per cent to Rs 1,461.6 crore in the first quarter of FY 2021-22 from Rs 1,057 crore in the same period a year ago.

The result also includes two months of contribution from SLK Global, whose acquisition was completed by Coforge in the last week of April.
Infosys profit up 23% in April-June
Information technology (IT) company Infosys reported a 22.7 percent increase in net profit to Rs 5,195 crore in the first quarter of FY 2021-22 in April-June. With this the company has increased its earnings growth forecast for the entire financial year. The net profit of Bengaluru-based company Infosys was Rs 4,233 crore in the April-June quarter of the previous financial year 2020-21.

Infosys said in the information given to the stock market that its operating income increased by 17.8 percent to Rs 27,896 crore in the first quarter of 2021-22. It was Rs 23,665 crore in the same quarter of 2020-21 a year ago. The company has increased the earnings estimate for 2021-22 to 14-16 percent, from 12-14 percent earlier.
