Kathmandu: Earthquake tremors were felt in Kathmandu, Nepal on Sunday morning. According to the National Center for Seismology, the magnitude of the earthquake was measured at 5.5 on the Richter scale. Its center was 147 km southeast of Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal. There is currently no report of any damage due to the earthquake. According to the information, the effect of the earthquake has been seen in many districts of Bihar adjoining Nepal.
According to sources, the earth shook at 7:58 am on Sunday morning in Madhubani, Samastipur, Araria, Katihar, Sitamarhi of Bihar adjoining Nepal. Earlier, tremors of earthquake were felt in Nepal only last month. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.3 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 161 km from Kathmandu.
