The Uttarakhand Congress is trying to pacify the ongoing cold war between the leaders by forming a Political Affairs Committee, while the factionalism of the leaders is causing trouble for the party. The controversy related to not putting the photo of former CM Harish Rawat in the officially released poster of Congress State President Karan Mahara did not cool down that a new ruckus arose in the Youth Congress. This list of more than a dozen names of office bearers It was issued, but there was such a ruckus in the organization that it had to be withdrawn and the State President of Youth Congress had to face the charges.
In fact, in a list issued under the sign of Uttarakhand Youth Congress President Sumittar Bhullar, the names of the State Vice President, General Secretary and District President were there. UK State General Secretary Pradeep Bisht said that everyone should be taken into confidence before the change in the organization, but this did not happen in the case of 13 announcements. Congress MLA from Haldwani Sumit Hridayesh clearly said that the monitoring of Youth Congress which should be done at PCC level is not happening and there is a communication gap between Congress and UK.
How did this whole controversy start?
Bhullar had overnight removed the district presidents of Haridwar, Pithoragarh, Nainital, Udham Singh Nagar, Chamoli and Dehradun as well as the presidents of Doon and Rudrapur metropolis. Many leaders reacted strongly, so the PCC had to intervene in the matter and all the announcements were stopped.

On canceling the announcements after the controversy, Congress state spokesperson Deepak Balutia said that the office bearers of UKC have been directed to take party president Karan Mahara into confidence in whatever decision is taken in future.

What will the Political Affairs Committee do?
