Who will pass and who will fail
UPTET is an eligibility test to join the teacher recruitment in the schools of the Basic Education Department of UP. Only those candidates who qualify it can appear in the teacher recruitment exam. Therefore, after passing in the examination, the candidates will have to bring the cut-op prescribed by the Basic Education Department, only then they will be considered pass in the examination. Let us know who will pass and who will fail in this exam?
– TET is an eligibility test, so no merit is fixed in it, as is the case in other examinations. In this, a cutoff is fixed for the candidates of General and Reserve category, which those who achieve this pass the exam.
For general category candidates, it is necessary to get 60 percent marks. That is, to pass out of 150 marks, they have to get 90 marks. On the other hand, 55 percent cut off has been fixed for the reserved category candidates. That is, such candidates will be considered pass only after securing 82 marks.
A total of 150 questions were asked in the examination held in both the shifts of TET. All the questions were of one mark each and there was no negative marking. In such a situation, the candidates will have to get the marks as per the cutoff given above.
– The examination held in the first shift was for the recruitment of teachers in primary level schools (classes 1 to 5), while the examination in the second shift was for the recruitment of teachers in junior high schools (classes 6 to 8). Except in some districts of the state, the examination was successfully completed in the rest of the state. Now waiting for the result.
