- North Korea faces tough sanctions due to nuclear program
- The historic talks between Donald Trump and Kim Jong Un also failed
Pyongyang, North Korea has once again threatened America and South Korea with a nuclear attack. North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un has advised the US military not to conspire against the country on the basis of nuclear bombs.
Kim Jong Un’s statement came during an event to mark the 69th anniversary of the Korean ceasefire. According to the country’s official KCNA news agency, on July 27, the anniversary of the ceasefire, Kim said his military could now carry a nuclear bomb anywhere during a US strike.
Kim further said that South Korea is pushing both countries to the brink of war. Let us tell you that despite the ceasefire, both the countries are still at war on paper. However, now there is no violence from both the sides.
Nuclear weapons made because of America
Kim Jong Un has described his atomic bomb as a remedy for threats from America. He pointed out that the conflict with the United States since the 1950-53 war gave rise to the nuclear program. North Korea had to work on nuclear deterrence for its self-defense.
The dictator reiterated warning the US that the country’s armed forces are fully prepared to respond to any crisis.
North Korea’s threat came after officials in Seoul and Washington said Pyongyang had completed preparations to conduct its first nuclear test since 2017.
Talks failed many times in both the countries
In fact, North Korea has alleged many times that America has adopted double standards towards it. There have been talks many times between the two countries to end the nuclear program and give relief in sanctions. According to North Korea, talks have failed every time because of America’s stand.
