The leopard was caught in the CCTV camera installed outside the houses located there. There is an atmosphere of panic in the area after the leopard appeared in the camera. At the same time, the forest department has increased patrolling in the area. The leopard was caught in the CCTV camera installed at the house of Arihant Jain, a resident of Rajnagar Sector 13, late on Tuesday night. Around two o’clock in the night, the leopard was seen in the CCTV. When the footage was seen in the morning, the leopard came to know about it, after which the police was informed.

After the leopard was sighted in the residential area, the people of the area are living in fear. There is silence on the road.

In this case, District Forest Officer (DFO) Diksha Bhandari says that as soon as the Forest Department got information that a leopard has appeared in Rajnagar. Only after that a team was sent to the spot to spot the leopard. Although no leopard prints have been found, patrolling has been increased in the area as a precautionary measure. Cooperation has also been sought from the police department to alert the residents.

Leopard was also seen a year ago

It is worth noting that the leopard was seen in Rajnagar area about 1 year ago, after which the forest department had also put cages in the forest adjacent to Rajnagar. But after that the leopard had disappeared. Now once again there is an atmosphere of panic due to the sighting of leopard in this area.
