Sakurajima Volcano: Eruption in Japan's Sakurajima Volcano, high level alert issued

Tokyo, Volcanoes have increased the trouble in Japan (Japan Vocano Erruption), a country that suffers from some disaster every year. The Sakurajima volcano in Japan’s Kagoshima prefecture erupted on Sunday night. Due to the explosion, a sheet of ash and toxic smoke spread several kilometers long in the area.

According to the Japan Meteorological Department, the explosion in the volcano occurred at around 8:05 pm local time. In view of the intensity of the explosion, the Meteorological Department has issued an alert of the fifth level, which is the highest level of alert.

In the midst of the explosion, the work of evacuating the nearby population is going on. People have also been asked to leave the house. According to a Japanese TV channel, stones are falling 2.5 kilometers away due to the explosion. However, there has been no news of any kind of loss of life so far.

According to Japanese state media, orange flames and plumes of ash can be seen coming out of the Sakurajima volcano.

Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretary Yoshihiko Isozaki said in a statement that he was monitoring the incident. The most important thing for the government is the life of the people, so everyone has been instructed to leave their homes.
