Recently, Maharashtra School Education Minister Varsha Gaikwad had said that the state government is monitoring the situation and the situation is being monitored continuously. If the cases continue to rise, the government can also issue an order to close the school. Let us inform that till now 54 cases of Omicron have been reported in Maharashtra. At the same time, 57 patients have been confirmed in the capital Delhi so far.

After which the state government had asked all educational institutions to postpone any kind of crowded programs till January 15. Also, the government had issued an order that students will not be allowed to take offline classes until their parents are fully vaccinated. Apart from this, on 6 December, Primary and Secondary Education Minister BC Nagesh had said that if the circumstances worsen then the government can stop the conduct of examinations and schools.
