Out of 1 crore 47 lakh voters in Delhi, 14 lakh voters are from Uttarakhand.
BJP has given tickets to 10 candidates of Uttarakhand origin.
BJP sent 48 of its leaders to the Delhi election campaign.
Dehradun. Elections may be held in Delhi, but political enthusiasts are also in Uttarakhand. The reason for this is the sizeable number of Uttarakhandi voters in Delhi. Out of one crore 47 lakh voters in Delhi, 12 to 14 lakh voters are from Uttarakhand, which is the second largest community in Delhi MCD. This is also a big reason why BJP has given tickets to 10 candidates of Uttarakhand origin in MCD elections. Uttarakhand BJP state president Mahesh Bhatt told that the party has sent 48 of its leaders to the Delhi election campaign.
The Aam Aadmi Party, which is trying to make inroads in Uttarakhand, has given tickets to only two candidates of Uttarakhand origin in the MCD elections; So Congress proved to be a failure here too.. Congress has fielded only one candidate of Uttarakhand origin in the election. Some Congress leaders associated with Uttarakhand are saddened by this.
Congress leader Dhirendra Pratap says that he is of the opinion that whoever has the same share should have the same participation. But, according to that, neither BJP, nor Congress nor AAP has given representation to Uttarakhand.
